A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE SOB's
South of the Border is a chapter of Muskies Inc. out of Antioch, IL.  We hold general meetings on the third Wednesday of every month starting at 7:30pm from October through April at the Moose Lodge on Rt. 173 in Antioch, IL.  These meetings are open to the public.  During these meetings we have a guest speaker,  raffle,  food & a cash bar.  There is a $5.00 door charge to help cover expenses.  From May trough September we have outings on the Chain 'O' Lakes out of the Thirsty Turtle off of Rt. 173 on Lave Av. in Antioch, IL.  Starting at 5:00pm ‘til dark then have dinner at the Thirsty Turtle.  All members and those thinking about joining are welcome to attend, if you don't have a boat, don't worry, we will be able to partner you up with someone who does.  If you have any questions or need further directions please call 815-385-9026 or 847-343-7221.  Board meetings are held at the Thirsty Turtle at 7:00pm on the first Wednesday of the month, all club members are welcome to attend.

Monthly Meeting & Outings Schedules

From October thru April Meetings are held indoors at The Moose Lodge in Antioch off of Rt. 173 at 7:30pm. There is a $5.00 door charge, which covers dinner and a door prize raffle.  We also have a Guest Speaker, raffle table & SOB merchandise for sale.  From May thru September Monthly Outings are held on the water at the Thirsty Turtle on Channel Lake from 5pm until dark.  Schedules are posted below.

Muskies Inc. website has a South of the Boarder Message Board. Log in to the Members Only section then click on "Member Forums" on the left hand side of the page. Follow the instruction to enter the Member Forums area, then move down the page to the Chapter Chat Boards for the South of the Border forum.

To All SOB Members

Please submit any photos and stories or information about your trips or products that you would like to promote to info@www.muskiessob.com.  Remember this is your club, so take advantage of it.  We always need new stories about trips and fish caught for the website and newsletter.  Please send in photos of your catches also, you can send them to the email address above or mail them to the Release Chairman and he will scan them and return them back to you.

SOB Members Feedback Form

We have added a Feedback form for SOB Members to fill out to let the Board Members hear what you think they are doing right and what you think they might need to change.  Please take a couple minutes and click on the link below to fill out the form.  Remember this is your club, so if there is something you would like to see changed or if you have any comments please fill out the Feedback form to let the Board Members know what you think.  All form submissions are completely anonymous and will be sent to all Board Members.  Thank you for taking the time to make this club enjoyable for all members.
